Gaumont-Rive Gauche (Paris 6th)

It was around late 1919 or early 1920 a beautiful 600-seat establishment opened its doors in the very busy street of Rennes, close to the old Gare Montparnasse .

Belonging to the circuit led by Louis Aubert, it is called "Regina-Aubert-Palace", then "Regina-Gaumont" following the absorption of the Gaumont circuit Aubert in the early 1930s.

Renovated in the late 50s, it becomes a hall of exclusivity in 1962 and became known as "Gaumont-Rive Gauche".

Having retained its status as one-room movies, unfortunately it closes its doors in 1980 ...
